Positive Inspiration 

 

Before and after my transplant I have always tried to remain positive with each obstacle I have faced, this page is based around the "Feel good factor" aimed at lifting ones spirit. There will be a number of articles, phrases, artwork, and useful web links designed for just this...

The pictures above were drawn when I was nine years old. I was asked to draw my life before and after my heart Transplant. It is my hope that these pictures give a positive outlook for those who have just received or waiting for the Gift Of Life.

 

TO THOSE OF US THAT HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE
TRANSPLANT OPERATION, TO THE PATIENTS THAT ARE
WAITING, AND THE ONES THAT ARE JUST GOING INTO
THEIRS. THE FOLLOWING IS A SAYING THAT I HAVE HAD
FOR MANY YEARS. TO ME THIS IS WHAT IT IS REALLY ALL
ABOUT. WITH THE DONOR PROGRAM AND FAITH IN GOD,
WE ARE A CHOSEN FEW.ALWAYS THINK POSITIVE, KEEP A
POSITIVE ATTITUDE NO MATTER HOW ADVERSE THE CONDITIONS.
LIFE CAN BE VERY CRUEL AND MEAN, BUT WE HAVE TO GET A
FIRM GRIP ON ADVERSITY AND BEAT IT. A POSITIVE ATTITUDE BREEDS
POSITIVE THINGS, A NEGATIVE ATTITUDE BRINGS PAIN AND FEAR.
IN OUR POSITION THERE IS NO ROOM FOR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS.
KEEP THE FAITH MY FRIENDS AND NOTHING BUT GOOD WILL HAPPEN.

Attitude

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. The Gift Of Life

I'm standing here, take a look around,

And cherish every sight and sound,

And thank the heavens for the life I'm living.

The clock of life is wound but once

And no one has the power.

To tell what time the hands may stop,

Don't Quit!

 

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road your trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and its turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about

A smile will take you the distance in life.

A smile says one thing, and perfectly clear.

A smile enlightens all those whom receive it.

A smile returns one from all who perceive it.

A smile's a symbol.  A statement applied.

A smile is confidence!  Humbleness!  Pride!

A smile is a natural thing people do.

Wouldn't a smile, look pleasant on you?

 

Believe in Yourself
 
 Whatever it is you are wanting of you.
Whatever you choose in your lifetime to do.
So what if it's something that's totally new.
Believe in yourself.  See it through.

It isn't important if others believe it.
What counts is that you were the one to conceive it.
And just how sincerely, you truly believe it.
Believe in yourself.  You'll achieve it.

People will scorn you.  Affect your decisions.
Fill you with doubt towards your current ambitions.
Don't fall a victim to their inhibitions.
Believe in yourself and your missions.

Know in your heart, what you're doing is right.
Know you can do it, with all of your might.
Know that the goal is one clearly in sight.
Believe in yourself.  You'll shine bright.

 

Experience Life
    
Life is abundant with pleasures anew.

Life is a gift, that's been given to you.

Life is an adventure!  To question!  Explore!

Life is appreciate!  Life to adore!

Life in the beauty of all that's around you.

Life in miraculous things that astound you.

 Life is the simple things, taken for granted.

Life so mysterious.  Life so enchanted.

"Don't Ever Stop Dreaming Your Dreams"

Don't ever be reluctant to show your feelings, when you're happy, give in to it. When you're not, live with it. Don't ever be afraid to try to make things better, you might be surprised at the results.

Don't ever take the weight of the world on your shoulders. Don't ever feel threatened by the future, take life one day at a time. Don't ever feel guilty about the past, what's done is done.

Learn from any mistakes you might have made. Don't ever feel that you are alone, there is always somebody there for you to reach out to.

Don't ever forget that you can achieve so many of the things you can imagine. It's not as hard as it seems.
